"LaserProbe4500"
For 3D scanning of objects up to 100mm high, all materials except transparent or reflecting ones
3D-Laser-Scanning-System / Laser scanner for almost all materials
Our "LaserProbe400" - Laser-Scanning-System is intended for contactless 3D laser scanning of objects for the purpose of fabricating/producing/building/? a three-dimensional computer model and creating a model file suitable for subsequent use or processing in a CNC-milling-system.
The Laser scanning system is structured/designed in a way that it can network with any CNC machine, even Servo-machines, regardless of the control type.
The basic configuration, including the complete wiring is of course suitable for all High-Z CNC milling machines made by CNC-STEP.
The provided scanning software for the evaluation/analysis/interpretation and filtering of scan results as well as the complete instruction manual is available in German and English.
Operating principle of the laser scanner
The laser sensor is fastened/attached, mounted on the motion/movement system of the machine. The CNC-System of the machine moves the laser sensor during the scan process line by line on the prototype of the object in a customer-defined distance (from 0.01mm) /in a distance that is customer-defined in the software.
The Laser sensor measures the distance (Z-coordinate) to the object`s surface.
Data recording of the laser sensor and the sensor movements are synchronised and the result is sent/transmitted/communicated to the PC via the USB-port.
Therefore the XYZ coordinates determine the arrangement of the laser-scanned surface. A digital prototype will be generated which is saved as a point data file as well as a common STL-format suitable for further processing with CNC.
Filtering:
Various noise and smoothing filters for different materials are available to influence the scanning result positively.
Areas of application of the laser scanner:
Prototyping
Reproduction
3D-scaling/scale changes
Production of precise orthopaedic parts
Mould making
Jeweller's technology
Orthopaedics mechanics
and many more..........
